    Please note that due to the naturally vibrant colored feathers of our turkeys, some pin feathers, follicles, and ink staining may be present on the product. If you are particularly sensitive to this, we recommend selecting our chicken skin instead.

    Cooking Tips: Turkey skin requires a slow rendering process. For best results, place in a crockpot on low and allow it to cook for 24-48 hours. Afterward, strain the mixture through a sieve. Once cooled, you’ll notice the shmaltz will have risen to the top, with a layer of solidified gelatin beneath. Simply remove the shmaltz and transfer it to a new container. The gelatin can be used to make gala or added to soups for extra richness.
